AniQuote #01

"Next time, I'll win with the least amount of moves."
Ginko Sora (Ryuuou no Oshigoto!)

In games and in life, this quote applies a fair amount of attention. Why is it though that we need to WIN in such a way? Why should we put the effort that takes a lot of energy, time and brain power to deal with situations in life when we can just lay back and deal with it in a subtle and easy manner?

For me, I think that life's too short to even say "Take it easy!". Life's giving us challenges day by day and we take it for granted to improve ourselves by taking the hard route in our lives. Giving effort in tasks not only makes you more active and healthier (look at the gains people make in the gym by busting all kinds of weight training!) but it gives us a slightly more purpose in life than just sitting on the couch drinking Coke and opening a bag of Doritos.

"I'll win with the least amount of moves."

By my understanding on part of the quote, this portrays a lot like in life—we should do things with the least amount of time given by our mortality. Knowing that we are about to die any moment, we are given the opportunity to deal with life swiftly and with more effort. Thus, we are to do MORE in the LESS time given to us before our body decays and our souls vanish. Sora Ginko who matured mentally at such a young age playing Shogi against his brother knows the struggle in achieving high rankings in the industry of the game and this is her resolve—doing the maximum amount of work with the least amount of time.

So do your best next time, okay? Don't be a lazy bum!
